03/24/2017What’s Fear Got to Do With It?
05/05/2017Healthcare is a much talked about topic these days, and certainly one that feels burdensome. Sometimes I really want to play ostrich and conversations about healthcare are one of those times.
I know that is not reality and we will all be purchasers in our “healthcare system” at some point.
There are steps you can take now to make your inevitable interactions easier.
My friend Amy Thompson at Lifetime Wealth Planning and Management wrote an article about the three critical documents you need to have for planning your health care. You can read about them by going here. Scroll to page 4 to find her article entitled “Critical Documents for Planning Your Healthcare.”
Outlined in this article are names and descriptions of the 3 documents everyone needs in place to more easily navigate our healthcare infrastructure. Please consider creating them before you technically need them. By proactively doing so you remove an unnecessary burden from those that love you. If that is not reason enough…another advantage is that by taking care of these necessary documents you give yourself mental freedom to work more on those things that inspire you.
Bottom line: this is one of those topics that is not fun to talk about or work on so it is often avoided.
Fact: the need doesn’t go away.
